Our Mis­sion since our inception in 1986 has been to HELP people with LOW VISION discover the information, devices and aids that will HELP them become more visually independent.... so they can do more of the things they need and want to do, whether it's reading a book, writing a letter, reading their personal mail, bills, corres­pondence, newspapers, magazines or writing a check. Our goal is (and always will be) to HELP visually impaired persons
